Louisa Napaljarri Lawson Born c.1926 d.2001. Born west of Yuendumu N.T., her country was Kunnajarrayi, her language/tribe was Walpiri. A senior member of the Lajamanu community, her paintings have attracted significant attention through several national exhibitions, including Mythscapes and Paint Up Big (NGV).
